In July, our Board of Education passed a policy to provide parents/guardians with the ability to control what library/media center materials your student is able to access in our schools – via  two choices - “Open” or “Reserved” (restricted) access. Also per the policy, regardless of access choice, all parents and guardians will receive email notification of any material checked out of the media center. The Mentor Board of Education is seeking applicants for one Mentor Public Library Board of Trustees position. This trustee position would fill the remainder of a term that has opened due to a resignation. Library trustee terms are six years in length and this term expires December 31, 2027. The new trustee would begin immediately upon appointment.
